School of Design Technology and Visual Art - During my final year of study at The Central University of Technology, I chose Corporate Identities as the subject for my thesis and for my practical part I decided to develop a new identity for the School of Design Technology and Visual Art (the design and art programs of the University). Each project was based on extensive research and included a logo, stationery, signage, clothing, promotional items and a corporate manual.
- The logo
The logo was inspired by the shape of the Design Technology and Visual Arts building. The building has a great history and proved a perfect symbol with some meaning. The roof of the building opens to signify the creative potential emerging from the department. The four symbols represent the four departments at the School: Design, Fine Art, Photography and Clothing & Fashion.

Stationery for the identity included business cards, letterheads, envelopes, quotations, invoices, compliments slips, folders, mailing labels, tracking labels and memo pads.
