  • Calendar designed as a student project for the Central University of Technology, Free Sate, South Africa. A photographer supplied photos of Litema wall decorations. Litema (pronounced 'Di-te'ma') describes decorations done by women of the Basotho tribe on traditional dwellings in Lesotho and the Southern African province of the Free State. Patterns resemble objects from the natural world and more often mimics ploughed fields, plant- and animal life. Using this as inspiration and guidance, we had to use vibrant colours and the supplied photos to create a calendar for staff of the University and other clients.
